just found this now on reddit, someone said this: "the seller put in multiple elys in one slot so that he would receive over max cash in one slot. you can't have over max cash so it sold some elys at normal price but when it got close to max cash, it lowered the sell price to whatever wouldnt put it over max cash (in this case 50k)"

 

makes sense now.
