July 17, 201312 yr So I decided to buy a GTX 650 Ti for this PC vv and it's running like a charm. So far I've only tried 2 "graphically" intense games, Skyrim, and Far Cry 3. Both ran on ultra with 60 fps. What Gpu do you guys have, and with what fps? Also what are some games that I can test my gpu power on? Edited August 17, 201312 yr by Wowzoor
July 17, 201312 yr Hi. I am look to spending 100-150 dollars on a new GPU, and I never to figure the right one out. I also need a way to check my power supply wattage. I am considering AMD Radeon 7770 Sapphire edition. Here are my specs nVidia > AMD

August 16, 201312 yr Hi. I am look to spending 100-150 dollars on a new GPU, and I never to figure the right one out. I also need a way to check my power supply wattage. (without taking my pc apart) I am considering AMD Radeon 7770 Sapphire edition. Here are my specs http://www.outletpc.com/mf6391-evga-geforce-gtx-650-ti-superclocked-video-card.html?utm_source=mf6391-evga-geforce-gtx-650-ti-superclocked-video-card&utm_medium=shopping%2Bengine&utm_campaign=pricegrabber&utm_content=EVGA%2B-%2BVideo%20Cards%20%3E%20PCI-Express%20Video%20Cards%20%3E%20EVGA%20Video%20Cards This one right here. It'll run pretty much any game right now on medium settings at least. Only $19 above your budget as well.

It runs really well. 60 FPS on high in skyrim :P
August 16, 201312 yr With your budget, pick an AMD card. The closest nVidia card to the 7770 would be the GTX 650, which will perform worse in most situations and will require further investment. The card you have chosen will work out fine.
August 17, 201312 yr I'd suggest running Crysis 3 or Assassin's Creed 3 (preferably in the Boston area) to test FPS. Hitman: Absolution would be another option.
August 18, 201312 yr I currently have two superclocked 660's, I'd recommend getting a gtx 660 superclocked. They're $180 on newegg.
August 18, 201312 yr Currently my GPU is a bit outdated after my old GPU packed in I had to buy a quick decent cheap replacement. GTX 650 OC edition, read numerous reviews before and it is by far the best nVidia GPU for the money. Cost me £90 I think. At the moment I'm saving for a Palit GTX 770 JetStream edition which will run basically anything on ultra at 40+ fps!
August 19, 201312 yr Guys.. I don't mean to brag but AMD RADEON 4200 HD. That shit should be in a museum l0l, 3 generations old (+ it was the first model in it's series and the next amd releases should be the 8k series?) - to be fair it's lasted me a while. Dw guys, I'm upgrading soon, geforce 770/780 within a few months :3. Edited August 19, 201312 yr by Fringie
