Kati2 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Community, It's clear that there's an issue with grabbing the client parameters and/or injecting the dependencies. We're working to fix the issue as quickly as possible however there is no ETA. The main reason for this announcement is that there are several members going around "fixing" this problem for the other members by sending them tampered client and data files. Please be very careful of who you let "fix" your client because someone could easily give you altered code to steal your account information from your local files. This is very much against our rules and terms of service. Everyone should be reminded that we have copyright over our client and any uploading, re-distributing, or re-engineering of our client is not only severely against the rules, but also against the law in several countries. We would prefer to fix the issue on our own side and give an official release for not only our safety, but yours. The OSBot team is very serious about security and that's what sets us above the rest. Be very careful. Happy botting! The OSBot Staff Team 10
Mohiom Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the update and making it clear to everyone that not all people have good intents when helping you. Always be careful with who you deal with. Edited July 16, 2013 by Mohiom

BotRS123 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 People have to stop trusting random people so easily. No one everyone complains about being hacked.
MarioGp Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 i only use this bot and the scripts posted in local and the SDN. I imagine they check all those scripts for viruses or loggerz
Kyro Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Strongly advise you to take caution when allowing others to give you certain things which may compromise accounts. Use common sense, if it sounds to good to be true, it most likely is.
prime Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) A little solution for everyone. Open your platform and wait for it to get stuck on "Grabbing parameters..." then open up a browser and attempt to load the client through runescape.com. When the client on your browser begins to load so will the client on the osbot platform. Edited July 16, 2013 by prime
