Gold prices dropped?

Featured Replies

Can someone explain to me why gold prices have dropped?
Im a buyer so I am happy they have, Im just interested in why they have

I know that there was some sort of mechanical bug recently. It had to do with the Venenatis.

Venenatis has been farmed for billions worth of loot and then all htat gold was sold at once.

There was a dupe in RS. I believe the guy was called "Quint".

thanks guys, jagex make way too many mistakes hahah

any idea if it will go back up after a while?

Hopefully it will - If just jagex removes all the duped gold

Is there a way to actually recover from this and make the prices go up again or is that near impossible?

Duping, as well as Venenatis most likely. That, and the gold will always decrease, atleast a little

unless they do a rollback of the gold / track all the duped gold and remove from game nope

well...unless they do a major bot nuke and ban loads of peoples mules holding gold

that might make it rise i guess:P

but realistically no, but it might slightly increase after this all dies down
