There is many player that fail at Jad so this is a good way to train.

protip: always pray range. when you hear mage switch to protect mage then immediately switch back to range unless you hear the mage sound again.

I wouldn't do this because the animations are different and Jad himself is different. When you get to Jad on osrs you'll be expecting what you found there but it's actually quite different. It could help with prayer switching though.

jad made easy:

jad lifts one of his back legs when he does a ranged attack on osrs, so keep magic pray on and watch back legs

or

keep ranged pray on and listen for magic sound

 

people make jad more difficult than he needs to be. he really isn't that hard to kill
