If this option is possible, I'm pretty sure it's for VIP or Sponsors only. As name changes are a VIP+ feature.

Exceptions have been made in situations like this. If it were to ever happen however you would be expected to have VIP, as regular users cannot change their names. It's probably best to ask Maldesto via PM.

You need to purchase VIP+ in order to change your display name. When you are a VIP+ user, you can always PM one of the moderators to check whether you can receive the display name of an inactive user.
