About

Frustrated with the lack of functioning free smithing bots, I took it upon myself to create a working smelter. 

 

Locations

• Al Kharid
• Edgeville (v3+)
• Port Phasmatys (later)

In action (just ran for a little to grab this screen shot. have ran it for 3+ hrs with no problems but was still developing the paint so never bothered to get a screenshot.)

• Changed how bot interacts with furnace when making cannonballs. Will no longer accidentally attempt to use steel bar on another player using the furnace.

• Added cannonball support
• Fixed many walking issues. Will no longer walk behind furnace building.
• Split banking routine into two states for more human like behavior.
• Redone paint along with new "items created" stat.

• Fixed rare bug in which script would break due to misclick on banker. Script now properly resets banking behavior when dialogue with banker detected and continues as normal.

Source does not have anything malicious as of this post. Only thing it connects to is imgur for paint. Good luck.

Apparantly I overestimated the need for this bot on this forum. Never the less, v3 out with lots of improvements.

1) Request a Git account

2) Setup smartgit on your computer (or something else)

3) Clone repo

4) Push scripts

5) Make SDN upload request (with provided template)

 

This way more users will use it and provide you with details

v4 released

Seems to work well, i like it's nice and smooth, doesn't w8 forever before banking etc. I don't like it writes in chat sometimes when trying to make bars and the random number for bars is weird too because it sometimes writes less than 14 so it has to click on smelter again and write another number. This feels like something that bot does not a real person. But othwerise it runs smooth. But thanks to this <14 writing i wouldnt dare to leave it overnight.

Edit: It got stuck behind bank, had to manually move front of bank.
Edit2: It even wrote 0 once, cmon.
Edit3: Sadly it's not really usable.. Sometimes just takes out 14 copper and logs itself out. Sometimes takes 10 instead of 14 and logs itself out. Gets stuck quite often too. Sometimes can run 10 min, but sometimes gets stuck or logs of in 1-2 runs. I'm doing bronze bars at al kharid.
