I'm looking at buying a new gaming pc

Featured Replies

$1000 aud I am willing to pay for a top notch gaming pc but Ive got no clue where to start... Any spec recommendations or possibly links to pre made custom pcs? Desktop only please :-)

I want to be able to play MOST games with ease and I also would not mind a pc that lasts quite a long time under the right handling (cleaning out the fans etc)

Cheers,

Solaris.

Alienware are over-priced for its specs.

If you actually want a good computer for cheaper price, try building the pc yourself.

Buy alienware

A lot of feedback from Alienware owners tends to be based off their price for 'brand name' over product quality.

I would like to try that but even then I need to make a perfect combination of specs that work well together, I could buy something too powerful for the rest of my pc to keep up with hence why I'm asking on opinions so I can get a general idea of the minimum specs I need to run most games reasonably well.

Very useful Zikama, thank you smile.png.

If you need further help, let me know.

Also feel free to check out my build, which I did last summer. (Altho it's a bit off your range).

DO NOT GET ALIENWARE. That entire brand is overhyped garbage. The new top spec gaming PCs are MSI but thats way out of your price range. I just bought a Cyberpower PC with 8gb RAm and 1TB of hard drive space. It runs Witcher 3 in Ultra. It only costs about 800 as well.

Would this do well for my price range?

Aren't Moderators supposed to be helpful? facep.gif

it's obviously the wrong choice of wording but I'm more talking best for my price range.
