I'm only 3.7GB into the 12.5GB for Rome 2 Total war currently and it's been like 19 hours I think. Proper starting to irritate me.

Also got a little bored of it after like 1.2k hours lol and for the record, i'm not biased, I tried both (infact i tried league before dota) and dota is just better by a huge factor. The graphics, the gameplay, the userbase, it's just better full stop haha Apa 1
TheCoach Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Dota is harder to play than League. Or so I've heard. I personally don't like the graphical look of the game, not to say its bad, but its not my style.
Uchiha Sasuke Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I played Dota 2 for a while and it's extremely similar to LoL but with better graphics and it is harder than LoL as well. I personally didn't like it that much and neither did my girlfriend. We preferred LoL because it was quicker to learn and get into the game without watching any gameplay videos. If I was you, I'd just stick to League of Legends.

spykids3d Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 LoL is based off of DotA 1, Dota 2 is exactly the same as DotA 1 but on a standalone client that runs the Source engine. It's not the best analogy, but i think it's fair to say that League to Dota is like Call of Duty to Counterstrike. 1
