NEW YORK (Reuters) - The accused mastermind behind the underground website Silk Road was sentenced on Friday to life in prison for orchestrating a scheme that enabled more than $200 million of anonymous online drug sales using the digital currency bitcoin.
Ross Ulbricht, 31, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Katherine Forrest in Manhattan, three months after a federal jury found him guilty of charges including conspiracy to commit drug trafficking, money laundering and computer hacking.
Forrest also ordered Ulbricht to forfeit $183.9 million.

I think your missing the point, what if a guy rapes you? What if the girl uses a dildo on you? Etc Etc... Sexual assault is messed up, and the numbers are staggering that it is around 40% of all rape victims are male and due to lack of support (females have free councfil clinics etc) it is estimated that 85% - 90% of male rape victims do not report it and due to repressing it (idk the exact number) such a large amount of men commit suicide and a lot of others get into drugs, drinking depression etc.  The point of this is sexual assault, male or female is a serious issue.  This is also ironic as how "equality" is a joke, as using this as an exmaple males are extremely under priviledge but nobody talks about it?....

 

Also, to all these people complaining how he more time than a rapist...  The reason is because the punishment of crimes stack...  A person rapes one person gets 10 - 20....  But if they raped more they would get more time...  He is getting so much damn prison time because of the mass amounts of laws that he broke and how he repeatedly broke them...  That is how the legal system works :p
