Which Keyboard would you recommend?

Hey, I am looking for a keyboard with lighted letters, 

means not the whole keys is lighted but the letter itself.

 

Like the keyboard on a macbook e.g 

 

Which one would you recommend me?

Logitech G510.

 

They are cheap, comfy, and you have a little screen on the top of the keyboard and you can choose what you want displayed there. I have it display my CPU & RAM and it also has G keys which you can modify to do certain things like pressing 1 key may type a word

I disagree, looks too bulky, and ugly.

Its a lot smaller than the G510, has lights, and its mechanical as well.

I've never really took note to that I personally don't think its loud at all, i type quite smoothly but still fast. You also have a volume toggle on the keyboard and play, stop. And you can also plug you're headset or mic into the keyboard and it has 3 separate modes.

And trust me if you get the G510 them G keys are so bloody handy

That keyboard does look good indeed. Choosing a comfy & practical keyboard is the key to making things quicker while on computer so i think it is fair to look into it

Personally I would recommend a Ducky keyboard, the backlight isn't limited to the key, however the switches are genuine Cherry MX and are built like a damn fortress.

I use a Ducky Zero (budget oriented) keyboard with blue switches and custom black dampeners to reduce the sound of 'bottoming out'.

My model has brightness adjustment and a breathing effect, however the more expensive models such as the Ducky Shine series have a vast number of effects available.

Considering that's a modern Razer keyboard, I would highly avoid it.

As you can see on the packaging, it has their own switches (not Cherry MX) and has been proven to have poor manufacturing tolerances and quality control. Due to this, it makes the switches have different actuation weights (in grams), which is not an issue that should happen in a high end keyboard.

The point is you don't know what you're recommending.

Your current keyboard from Q2 2014 is most likely Cherry MX which means it's not a shoddy switch, new Razer keyboards are incorporating their new terrible switches and should be avoided.

Their keyboards are no longer "good", quality control and manufacturing tolerances can't be overlooked.

To confirm your switches, you can take the keycap off (assuming it's mechanical), and then you can look at either the colour of the switch or the branding on it.

This is the keyboard I use it is the Razer Lycosa. Lighted/Rubber keys. Super quiet.
