Some things you do not joke about. Jokes can be considered threats etc, just because you are "joking" doesn't make your death threat less serious in the court of law(example). Also, Eliot put a malicious code into a script by accident... Since it was by accident he deserved to be unbanned... But, they didn't know that at first.
