That is correct, people can change - But who is to say they "did change", we cannot just claim that is what I meant, so i'm glad you agree with me to say the least. Idk just kinda bugs me, like what changes your still purposely stealing from someone. Whether or not they see runescape gold or items as to have real money value. Its more just the mindset that its ok to scam that makes me sick. Personally some things are worse than others, but they are all still wrong. I haven't scammed anyone out of anything since around the age of 16, I'm now 24. I can't see myself scammign anyone again, even if I was desperate. When lunar's first came out I did it instantly for the wildy group teleport which was pretty profitable. Common scenarios would be just trying to get someone to skull in the wilderness with my real life friend. Example: I find someone and bring him along with me for a duo pk trip. We would "find" my friend walking around in the wilderness and I would start attacking him. As soon as my duo partner attacked him for the skull, I would tb him and my friend with bring out the blitz. Personally I did it for the glory and money. From phishing, recovering and RAT'ing to developing specialised programs to target RS. Like you I was young and foolish at the time. As I've grown, so have my morals and now I'm just looking to enjoy the game. Yeah I bot, but not at the expense of others. If it did harm others I wouldn't do it. They went with me on one trip, and after we teled they both logged out and put me on ignore. A day later I was hanging around with a clan member in my POH. He asked me if I wanted to try on his full zammy set. He traded it to me, and I booted him from my house. 8 years later I still feel really bad about it, if I could make it up to him I definitely would. Back in the days it took me like half a year to actually get a decent armour and cashstack and then BOOM it's gone in some way. One time a guy invited me into his clan, had his own website etc. Looked very professional. Then he sent me a file which he told me was a calendar and i opened it and i got hacked. Then i've bought several accounts with 07gp around the forum, invested and then all accounts got claimed back. It's really sad but i never trust ANYONE again with lower than 200 feedback on different forums. Lurers, scammers and hackers are the most selfish and biggest douchebags around in the world. Get your own fucking method and your own fucking money instead of robbing from people who had lots of work building up something. Did i ever consider scamming or hacking? yes i did, but i've never done it because it's fucking sad.
