Oliver Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 Mämmi. Mmhh. The looks can be deceiving. Finland Wow never saw this b4, is it sweet?
GSC Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) Wow never saw this b4, is it sweet? The taste is kind of hard to describe. It's confusing. Definitely a little sweet because it has heaps of sugar and syrup in it but the aftertaste is pretty sour, almost beer-like (because it has malt in it). I think rye bread is pretty rare outside of Finland too but if you've ever tasted it, Mämmi is a bit like sweet rye bread seasoned with malt in a porridge form. Well, that sounds weird, but it's kind of an acquired taste really. But it's not as bad as it looks. Edited March 23, 2015 by GSC 1
Epsilon Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 That food looks so good. We usually just have roast lamb.
rayray1993 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Don't really celebrate Easter at all no special meal
