1 def vs 45 zerker

Featured Replies

Just wanted to start a discussion about the pros and cons for each.

Which setup should I make? :)

My opinion if you're stuck, make a 1def pure and when you're bored turn it into a zerker

Maxed pures = like 115 combat with 1 def right and 99 prayer right?

Maxed pures = like 115 combat with 1 def right and 99 prayer right?

why would u have a maxed pure with 99prayer?

Why not?

1) You'd get wrecked in wilderness completely.

2) 99 prayer would be expensive and literally completely useless.

3) You could barely boss, you'd make it harder for yourself.

1 def :

cheaper gear

lower cb

don't deal with mains in high level wildy

you aren't a defense nub

45 def:

You get to wear rune / void / penance gear

you are likely to smack pures up

easier fight cave

Making a decent zerk involves a lot of time into questing, pures not so much.

Also is pvping on a 70 def viable?

Edited by eleax

45 def if you can afford AND have the time to quest for 180-200 qp if not then go for 1 def

1 defence pures are great because most zerks are failed 1 defence pures in the end

If you plan on botting on it a lot do not make it a zerker. You will waste tons and tons of time and effort doing quest only to get banned in the end.
