Banned after 2 days. Did nothing wrong. WTF?

Featured Replies

I definitely think doing the Shield of Arrav quest was to blame. Wrong move, mate.

1. What us farming cows? Never heard of this I thought farming was for herbs and stuff.

2. You broke jagex rules so u did do something wrong.

3. I don't know was research you did, but hill giants is a place with a high ban rate.

Botting is at high risk for bans right now. If you're going to bot make sure you bot smart and don't use obvious locations.

Choose a place with VERY low player traffic, try use an older account, every now and then switch it up, jump on and play legit on the osrs client for a bit, then have a break, then run the bot for a bit etc etc..  But yeah, if you bot you're gonna get banned at some point.. Just some people get lucky I guess. It's not IF you are gonna get banned, it's when.

Just the way it goes. APA Rock Crabs got me banned after 2 days, and here I am on a new account 16 days later with the same script, and no ban. What I've tried is instead of logging off during breaks, do quests!

yeah.... so lame. if you are always going to get banned. whats the point? You will never be able to use the account again after that happens. They ban so much I don't understand how people avoid it

The risk to get banned is ALWAYS there.

There is no way to stay 100% safe.

Some places/methods have a high banrate, some a low.

Luck plays also a role.

Ways to lower the chance of a ban?

- Use old accounts or at least not a complete fresh and train some combat legit

- Take long human like breaks (play 2h break 1h is not human like if you repeat this all the time)

- Play legit too

- Don't bot where you can make a lot of cash (e.g green dragons, druids etc.)

- Change tasks (fight monster X, take a break, and train another skill like a human would do it)

*note even by doing all this the chance to get banned after a few hours is still there!

these are good tips but they all serve the same purpose which is less time spent using a script, which would imply the script itself is what gets bans.

@OP use private scripts specialized to seem more human than scripts using pseudo antiban with generic sleeps.
