Zikama
Recently I've noticed new contact requests won't be shown. Unless the person who is trying to add me send a separate message (along with the add) I won't notice they've tried to add me. Tried added my Skype form another account, and I couldn't see it. Tried reinstalling my Skype along with clearing my temp folder for anything named 'skype'. I'm lost.

Kami
I'd try deleting the skype file under the hidden file "ProgramData". (C:\ProgramData) Same with AppData under hidden file roaming. (C:\Users\david\AppData\Roaming) Edited November 20, 2014 by xgate

Basic
(Contacts>Advanced>BackupContactstoFile), deleting the config.xml file (located under Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/Skype -- just be aware you may have to unhide the folder), and then pasting in the backup file into that location. Hopefully that will work!
Zikama
So after about 1½ hours of live session with a Skype agent form their customer support line, I can conclude that the issue is not on my end, but on Skype's. The agent wasn't able to resolve my issue either, but promised me to forward it to the high experts at skype HQ.
