Thinking of getting an iPad.

Huh?

You can't expect the money you pay for a Swift version of an application to cover the costs for the Swift and Java and C++ versions. You get 1 for the price of 1, not 1 for the price of 3, I'm sure we've had this argument before though :p

Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh waste of money

You're kidding yourself

The iPad Air is better than the Nexus though. I was thinking of the iPad mini, but that's basically the same as my Nexus so ye.

Oh, that. It's one of the reasons why I want an iPad. All my apps and books are there.

I'm not sure why people are bringing programming languages into this....?

It's like if I bought a book from Wal-Mart and then asked Barnes and Noble for the same book for free because I bought it at another store. I'm not sure how difficult of a concept that is to grasp.

I like the current one, so I'd assume the newer one would be fancier, but why get another tablet? Wanted something bigger?

The iPad is a really nice device. I haven't tried one since the Air, but the iPad 3 was pretty cool if you like that kind of stuff.

Different languages <-> different licenses <-> different stores

The comparison with the physical book is actually quite horrible ... ?

I want a bigger tablet and I'm going to sell my current one or give to a sibling. I want the Air since it's bigger - probably the new one that's coming out.

why would you apple if you can get something else cheaper

Why would you buy a 16 oz bottle of water for 2.99 when you can buy a 24 pack of 14oz water bottels for 3.50? Because people are idiots.
