College sucks

Featured Replies

Almost 2 weeks into college and I can already tell that the rest of this year is going to suck.

My schedule couldn't get any worse. I literally have to drive 100 miles round trip to attend 2 classes and me mums kar gets like 18/mph on the highway..

I also have to leave super early and get to class almost an hour before it starts, otherwise im stuck in morning traffic for 2+ hours and i would miss math class/ sit with the stoners in the back if i make it

Would be so awesome if i was dorming, I would have sooo much extra free time and could actually have the real college experience but im broke as fk

I already have shit loads of free time since all my classes are lightwork... almost every single class Im taking is the exact repeat of what I took in high school  (took almost 13 A.P's) so yeah Im bored in class 24/7.. Seriously if all my credits transferred i would be done with like 1/4 of college

Met some cool peoples tho but still sort of awkward in some of my classes

Oh well 1 more year of this bullshit and I'm off to Chicagos cool.png cool.png cool.png

Their college is our University so it's kind of different.

Try to give it a chance. I commute an hour to college and I am usually there from 8am-5pm.

I have to leave my house at 6:30am most mornings and don't get home till 6:30-7pm

Things will get better. This is my 3rd year and I can tell you it's not horrible. Try to talk to some more people, don't go running home after class and try to find a school club/activity that interests you.

When I was a Freshman I had a VERY light load and made the mistake of always running back home when class was over. I don't know what your major is but you need to social network. Start making connections with people that will benefit you in the future.

I run home to play runescape all day ..I already have connections with at least 15 people who are bound to become rich and successful

Seems like a wasted effort since im only going to be here for my freshman year

shouts to winnerowns and his whip, dumped on bags at the back, nice one buddy

Fuck the college experience. Use your time to work your ass off and build a business so you're not required to work a 9-5 where you get paid 30k per year to provide for an ungrateful family and kiss your bosses ass 24/7 so you fon't get fired.

100 miles away? wtf........ that flat out sucks........

I mean 50 miles there and 50 miles back

That sucks dude. Once you start to go to parties and have fun, the shitty learning experience won't be as bad.
