You're more than welcome to donate any amount at any time, however there may not always be a reward (e.g Pip / Fancy glow on your name) for lower donations.

I honestly don't think that you know what the word "donate" means.
To not wanna "donate" unless you know for sure that you are being rewarded is not the way to go. Donating should mostly be anonymous from real supporters that actually want the business to grow, instead of people like you, who just wanna flash their pimped profile. You don't really want to donate, do you? I believe that you just want to buy some flashy customization to your account, am I right?
