Ban rates..?

Featured Replies

There is a fairly new Pest Control botting script on the SDN. I might use it to get my strength from 70-99 but is it risky to run the bot almost all day until 99 str? Does Pest Control have a high ban rate?

its just luck  , no ban "rate"

i dont think they keep specific ban rates for each script although pc i would guess would be somewhat risky as players tend to blame loses on bots which can lead to you getting reported

OK look, right now these are the heavily Patrolled area as of last week-Now
1)Red Chimps

2)Pest Control Bank

3)ANy woodcutting in Cathy/seers (yews/magics)

4)Fishing in Cathy

And thats all  I know of atm

Ranging Guild is high alert for bots as well. i've been botting lobs at cathy so many bots ing world 30 it'll be hard for them to get us all :P

If I were you and wanted to decrease the chance to get banned, I would :

- baby-sit as much as possible when the bot is running

- switch bot off for random periods of time and play the game as a user (pm, interact with npc, etc.)

- never run for a too long period of time and limit the time you bot per day

- randomize the time you are botting (don't start everyday at 8:00AM)

I guess that's some obvious information, and there is probably a ton more to take care of to evade the banhammer, but that's a start I guess! :)
