so lets talk about lifting, what are your problems, what are you good/weak at etc.

answer: When you are at your teens, your growth wont go all on muscle, it will go on full body.

 

i am not very good in english so i dont know how to make the answer more detailed n such, soz me for that >P.

I'm not a bodybuilder or something but I know that you can't expect to see results in the first 1/3 months.

But if you have enough free time try to do like chest day, leg day, back day etc. so that your body will have to change to be able to keep up.

If you want something bad enough you'll get there

If you're only trying to gain mass, eat even more food. Also, you could probably add another lifting day on Wednesday at your age and still have perfectly fine recovery.

I workout almost every day.. Also run cross country but im like one of the biggest kids at my school. SEnior Now

Age is only a factor in how fast your metabolism burns off fat, which means at your age you'll need to eat more than usual in order to actually make gains. Some helpful tips -

 

1. Pay attention to the protein you're consuming, and make sure to choose the healthiest and most organic option possible.

2. In-take protein or anything with nutritional value in a time-span of thirty minutes after your workout.

3. Rest and stretching is crucial, make sure to have a healthy dose of both.

4. Drink lots, and I mean lots, of water. It is the key to removing the lactic acid that builds up in your muscles, and helps them repair for the next day.

 

Keep it up, and eventually you will reach the goals you have in mind!

It could possibly be the number of reps you do each set. Low reps focus more on improving strength, while high reps (8-15) per set focus on muscle growth. If you're trying to gain mass, I'd suggest doing 12 reps each exercise you do. You will still obviously improve strength, but to a lesser extent. 

 

Also, why not change your workout schedule then. You could just not be targetting your arms enough... I'd suggest a 3 day split which works for beginners. 1 day chest and triceps, 1 day back and biceps, 1 day shoulders and legs. 

 

And lastly, don't expect to gain muscle fast. It's a very, very long process. You'd be lucky to add 1 lb of muscle a month if you have strict nutrition and good genetics. 

 

Also, it is possible your arms are just your weak point. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. So don't give up because results are on their way. :)

lol the op is probably tripping, but i say, that all said above is bullshit, it looks like people are saying stuff, what they have seen on youtube and material about lifting that they have read in internet but in reality they dont have clue how lifting works. Yah, there probably are guys who build muscle by doing these things said above, but its all not necessary. If u get to jail/military, you wont get nutrition you want, you just get high calorie food, in military i used to get 3k cal pack when i went to woods(not sure if i said right because english is my third language. anyways, the point is that you get what im saying).[---] i would love to tell u longer story, why, when, how but cba, this isnt storytelling  or bodybuilding site.

 

just do high ass reps, that will get u muscle, i guarantee. and your friend was right. when you are underaged, your growth goes on body, not much on muscle.

do not rely on these jizz shakes, that wont build u muscle, hard work will, eat regular food, if you feel like you need to eat more protein then go on, but dont just increase it randomly.
