Master Chief
In addition to 's suggestion, I think it would be nice if staff feedback was anonymous. I'm not 100% sure on how this could be fully accomplished, but I think it should be so. Some people may not wish to speak their mind about a staff member because they are scared to get on their bad side. Or they want to try and be extremely kind towards a staff to try and get the staff to like them. In general, I just think staff feedback can be bias often and not always is exactly what a member feels. What are your opinions on something like this? I do think one downside would be members may bash staff they dislike to an extreme.
YinZ
Surely, this would be abused?

Nick
Not really possible considering feedback is given through posting on a thread. If a staff member takes bad feedback out on the community, then obliviously they aren't suitable for the position. I think the staff team in general does a good job in keeping their personal feelings out of situations that require an unbiased mindset.
RoomScape
I do see where you're coming from, but not sure about how this would be implemented. They could PM all of their feedback to @Maldesto, who would then post on the thread, but that could get annoying on his part. They could e mail their feedback to a e mail, but then that would be similar to the above where the person managing it (most likely @Maldesto) would get annoyed doing something like that. Another site, which you are aware of, has a certain section where a select group of members post but they all have different aliases for that section so they don't know who's who. So surely you could make a section where all members that post are renamed "Anonymous" and there's no way of telling who's who (Besides maybe Administrators having access to check each posts' IP) Not really possible considering feedback is given through posting on a thread. I think many people could be worried about giving a staff member negative feedback. Feedback is going to affect a staff member's opinion on the poster no matter what I feel like. It shouldn't effect the way they work, and it may not, but it will effect the way they think for sure. I disagree with the second part completely though! I'm not condemning biases completely, because everyone (including myself) is going to have them. Whether they want to or not. Some on a smaller scale than others, but it's always going to be there
Administrator Maldesto Posted May 25, 2014 Administrator Share Posted May 25, 2014 If people are scared they will be targeted they are free to pm me letting me know that they are being targeted. I've never seen a mod on my team get upset about being hated on. Only working to improve. This isn't happening sorry. Giving feedback isn't a public complaint or hate post. It can be constructive. I get pm's about "abuse" occasionally.
