Featured Replies

Hi there fellow botters/developers/whoever!

Is there anybody to enlighten me about this: WHY SHOULD OSBOT EAT 50-99% OF MY CPU? Do you contibute to any

scientific undertaking without my knowledge or what the hell?:D When i play via Jagex's own client it uses like 10%!?4444444

p.s.: I am aware of the fact that 90% of the community asked about this before me, but this is getting to the point of annoyance.

Thank you for you answers in advance.

OSBot 1 is a CPU intensive application, it depends on your computer at the end of the day. Running more bot tabs/clients will obviously result in higher CPU percentage.

Use OSBot 2, the CPU usage is fairly improved or invest in a better processor + ram ^_^

I literally know nothing of osbot v.2

Do i need to buy sponsor? Are the scripts compatible with it?

Basically pros/cons?

No you don't need to buy sponsor it works the same as OSBot 1, same perks come with the ranks.

As for pros and cons,

Pros: better interactions, less CPU, somewhat smoother

Cons: not fully stable, still in beta phase, OSBot 1 script emulator is still experimental, quite a few API issues still

Yeah the compatibility is the real problem, i like the new layout and functions, but its real laggy, the scipt can not perform as good as with the v1:S

Guess ill wait until the v1 is decomissioned and all the resources dedicated to v2;)

Yeah the emulator is still in the experimental phases, OSBot 2 should be out within the next month fingers crossed! ^_^

Is OSBot 2 safer than OSBot 1? or is it the same? :)

what do you mean by safety?

Haven't tried the latest release, will do later today and post back but judging from the responses on the release thread, the new features aren't stable yet. Will confirm later.
