Um I heard that only Alek decide who can be OSD or not. For me this is kinda unfair because one person can do alot of mistakes.

My suggestion is to make all actual Official scripters to vote. More votes - less mistakes. To make it more reliable lets every vote have comment like why I vote for no/yes ( few points )

I agree, this would be transparent, and is used on some other forums and worked well overall.

Personally, I find it disgusting that devoted members like me, don't get OSD, while "Dashboard", guy who was banned for acting like a child and releasing DOX on devs, comes back and is instantly promoted. Way to go OSBot, yeyy.

YES

  1. @PolishCivil suggested it
  2. This is democracy
  3. Being able to comment on applications can lead to discussion that can benefit the applicant

Well, it's not really a democracy, democracy is if every member was allowed to vote.

This is different, and better - democracy is actually a bad system. 80% of people on the earth are dumb, and two of those 80% have more right to say where a university professor should send his children, because democracy.

I think this would be a good idea, but there are issues with it too.

What if one OSD doesn't like that applicant?

I doubt everyone will stay objective and impartial, but I do like the voting idea more than just one person.

Alek already dislikes me, what can be worse XD (assuming since dashboard=OSD, me!=OSD)

U can't prove that he's code is bad when 80% say its good.

I am sure @Zach can say otherwise.

I don't mind the idea as long as the "higher ups" don't have a problem with that.

I doubt that "higher ups" really care about it.
