WTF, advertising ban!?

Featured Replies

Seriously WTF, i got muted on 2 accounts because of advertising, and both banned because macroing major:

Strange things are the following:
- Both of the accounts were running on a different IP (and they have been created on different IP's aswell), there is no way jagex could link the accounts
- I'm 100% sure i was the only with account access, and i'm sure i didn't do any advertising on both of the accounts (I didn't even talk with them in public/private etc.)

Both of the accounts are running on a VPS at Mywayhosting (http://mywayhosting.org/) on the proxies bought at Tiemposales (http://osproxies.com/)
Does anyone have any experience with any of these vps/proxy providers or bans? I actually feel like someone had access to both of my accounts and used them to advertise.

I am sure my laptop itself isn't "infected" or "keylogged" as both of my main accounts are still unbanned

Why don't you click view evidence?

Because there's nothing there

What does it say about you advertising? It should show a chat and what you said.

I didn't even bot this night, and i didn't even talk on both of the accounts.

1. I was doing superheat item yesterday evenening and closed the bots before the night

2. I woke up and i see these bans..

Don't worry, my account got muted for a month like last week with no evidence lol, then they banned it when I appealed.

Jagex gives delayed bans.

They catch you botting on Monday and they'll ban on Wednesday or Thursday or whatever. It's their way of trying to be slick.

Advertising bans are usually a mistake and they accept the appeal within a day of appealing had many of these..

Tiempo used to exclusively sell flagged subnet proxies (that were instant mutes) from a very well known used up proxy source. I'd be surprised if he still didn't.

Just use windows servers in Virtual Box to create your own VPNs, then it is easy to use the bot and you can run multiple ip's at the same time

But then why did they mute me? :/

Both accounts have the same credit card info?

I user bonds on them :)

Jagexes latest stream said that they are now putting in a new system to keep autotypers out of game.

Wierd, really.

But they are cracking down on all and everything
