Proxys not working

I input my proxy via the new proxy loader in 1.8.7 and I get the following error:

The proxies work just fine, i tested them with another client. Any idea why its not working? They are user and pw authenticated.

I think there's an issue with username and password authenticated proxies following a thread earlier this week, the issue has however been reported to the developers.

Yeah, so do mine.

So there's just an issue with when you input username:password

So we'll just have to be patient until the next client release
