Roar Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Quick Suggestion: Upon seeing a user complain of being scammed 6m by an already banned user (Mohammed) in the chat box I thought that a useful addition to the forums would be a system which automatically PM's everyone on the forums when a user is banned so that the risk of this occuring in the future is reduced Just my two cents, TL;DR - Implement system which automatically pm's everyone when someone is banned. Kthxbai P.s. Someone can't remember who at the time of writing suggested that this should only work with people over a certain amount of feedback. The issue of privacy arises as well when it comes to bans in regards to multiple accounts, offensive language, etc. Just make sure you know who you're trading with and get a bit more information about the person before giving someone your money. It is a good idea, but like I said, IP. Board having a hook that has this feature + a filter system to where IPB would have to decide when to actually send out a notification about a scammer seems highly unlikely.
