Stuck at Grabbing parameters.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, for the last 2 days I have been unable to load the bot properly.

I am able to login in fine, scripts load perfectly, but asoon as I click the "+" sign to start a bot, it says "Grabbing parameters" and will not go any further then that, even if I leave for 2 hours it won't load.

I have deleted the client and folder and re-downloaded, I have updated my java to java 7 build 55. Neither of which has fixed the problem.

Any suggestions?

Thankyou!

EDIT: Cannot load runescape on orion or on the website, i get this error java.lang.nullpointerexception

Edited by iBenediction

try chatroom, this usually happens after an update by jagex, when the client gets outdated , if you have the v8.5 there shoul not be a problem...

Only 2 people in the chatbox  and they seem to AFK :(

Only thing i can think of is your anti-virus blocking the request. Try disabling it for 2 minutes try again and if that doesn't work try these steps:

  1. Place OSBot client on Desktop and rename it to osbot.jar
  2. Open Command Prompt and type "cd Desktop" - this should put u in the root directory
  3. then type "java -jar osbot.jar" and it should load the OSBot loader
  4. Tick the "Debug Mode" checkbox and then once u click "+" watch the cmd window for any errors and post a screenshot here so we can assist you further
  5. If this doesn't work repeat steps 1-4 and untick "Injection Stealth Mode"

Hope it solves the issue

Ahhh alright you haven't got your system variables set up correctly. Any messages in the Debug Window underneath the client after grabbing parameters?

Yeah i thought so, did you allow java to download client info from Runescape website or did you click do not allow?

You can double check in the Java control panel:

Make sure you have it under trusted certificates. Should fix your issue!

Checked that, As stupid as this sounds, I'm going to roll with Ip banned. i know it sounds crazy but I just used my phone to tether internet to my pc instead of my home internet and I can load runescape fine. I dont know if that means im IP banned but it's bloody weird that when i change my internet source, I can access no problem

EDIT: osbot works when I tether my phone also.

Wow, very strange. Don't think they issue IP bans that rarely :/ just check you don't have any firewall exceptions set up for your router that's the last thing you can check.
