Does jagex just randomly delete accounts instead of banning them? I bot pretty infrequently on my main but the other day I tried to log in and my account seemed to be just gone. Gone from hiscores, from alts' friend lists, etc. Can still do password recovery, but won't let me log in, says invalid password.

I believe they sometimes do.

I've had this happen twice after making new accounts and redeeming bonds on them.

Has anyone who had this happen ever successfully gotten their account restored or even gotten an explanation from Jagex? Being banned for breaking the rules is one thing, but this just seems odd. Convenient that they waited until just after my subscription renewed.

They did the same towards me.

I botted for 3 hours, and hadn't used a bot on my main since few months, and it got deleted.

You could try sending them an email, just like I did.

Seems like a pretty sketchy business practice. With no way to log in and cancel subscription, I better not be charged in the future.

You shouldn't be.

If you are, just call up your bank and cancel it.
