Remove thread/post moderation from Disputes.

I've seen

  • First and last name
  • Home address
  • Ip address
  • Pictures on facebook

It is mostly people just trying to do to much research before posting instead of letting us handle it.

It also has something to do with the threads being moderated so them just posting anything.

I've seen people do that, but it's very rare - on other sites where scam reports are public immediately.

Your assumption is that people just do it because it is moderated, that is because you are around the community daily and know. Most people don't even know they are moderated, you know how many threads i have to lock/hide due to users posting it 2-3 times because its not showing up for them.

Your argument is basically "I know its moderated, and therefore everyone else show and not post sensitive information" You are experienced in this kind of thing, people new to the market aren't.  I could see if threads were taking days to be approved, but its literally 8 hours MAX.

Even one hour could make a difference, though, if someone's scam quitting. :/

But I guess if no mod is online to approve the thread, then they wouldn't be able to ban the user. I've just seen this happen a few times now where someone scams and no scam reports, then two or more pop up.

That isn't our fault, that is the user not using a middleman's fault. Use a MM, stop going first to users with 5-10 feedback.

Some 'Trusted' users scam also, lol. Especially when they think they can get away with it.

Very few cases which trusted people would scam. Maybe once a month or even less.

I support with Maldesto's idea of making sure having any personal informations secured as it might be a possiblity. I don't see no problem with moderators response time because they are real quick especially Gilgad,Smart and Arctic.

I kind of threw this thread away when he said people post full names/facebook/IP/address, lol.
