OSBot cannot connect?

Featured Replies

Hey all!

I have just recently made the switch from t**bot to OSBot for many good reasons (as I am sure you all already know!)

However, now that I am back at school, I am having an issue getting OSBot to work (on my mac)... Here is a picture of what is happening to me:

Everything else works for me (t**bot, Safari, Chrome, Opera, iMessage, Word ect). Nothing else has a problem connecting or running.

I just purchased a premium script that I am very excited to use! Any suggestions are appreciated!

tried this. Thanks for the suggestion, still the same issue.

Doesn't seem to be an issue with ANYTHING besides OSBot. Advertising other bots isn't allowed., the RS client, Runescape.com and ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS AND WEBSITES WORK just fine.

I also got same kind of problem, for me it keeps saying this:

[ERROR][01/22/14 03:47:55 ip.]: Error loading settings!

Any help? :-D

There's definatly something blocking the connection as you can see "connection refused".

Disable anti virus and firewall for a while.

Also port forwarding 50500 might help.

I am at school, I cannot port forward and we have a mandatory antivirus. I cannot disable it (it is linked to our wireless routers and it runs a antivirus update everytime before we are able to access the web).

Do you have skype?

You cannot portforward because you don't know how to or it's simply not possible?

Skype : alleskits24

I'll help you further in the best of my ability.

Your school probably allows only a few ports to communicate, only 80/443 in most cases, that's why you can access it through runescape.com

any way to change what ports we can access?

have you tried loading old school runescape on your browser to download the presettings?

log in your acc on your browser then try again.

My osbot cant find the bots (the client)

It's because there's just been an update on OSRS?...
