Anti ban methods

Dear community,

For OSBot 2 we're introducing a couple of ready to go anti ban methods. I'm interested in your thoughts on good anti ban methods in game, so that I can implement them.

So please shout out any ideas you have.

Sincerely,

Maxi

The only thing a good Bot site would need is an undetected client. Undected client = you can bot 24/7 without getting bot busted...

Let the bot recognize when people ask specific level, have the bot respond what the level is.

ex:

"wc lvls"

"wc levels"

"lvl"

"lvls"

"level"

"levels"

I doubt this is the case when other players around you try to interact with you, for example when talking to you.

Please, please, please don't add some sort of chat responder, will end badly.

In all honesty, I think things like random mouse movements are retarded most of the time, personally I don't have parkinsons (no offence to any with it) so I don't feel the need to spastically move my mouse around the client from time to time, I stay on task.

Skill checking is plausible, but only if it's for a relevant skill, or on very rare occasions a skill that's unrelated (once in a while I may think of training Slayer whilst mining, for instance, and so check my experience to leveling up). You could then incorporate a system to 'black list' skills in the 'un-related to current activity' category, e.g. if you're training mining and decide to check the slayer experience, you more likely than not aren't going to do it again any time soon.

A new one could be something like scrolling through the quests interface or changing in-game volume and such.

Additionally, possibly right clicking of local entities, as if interested in seeing who/what's nearby.

Most important one is random right clicking and camera movement, as suggested.

Jagex uses systems that read the your clicks. If you click randomly, check skills, etc. It will be the number one way to ban protect.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND not having chat responses, because if caught, it will be abused with people saying "lvls" 10,000 times just to prove you are a bot and make you keep saying your level.

As just suggested also, changing volume, scrolling quests, anything with clicks is the best way to prevent botting.

I like to examine random stuff when I play.. So you could probably add that

Definitely some intelligent talking, both in CC's, public and maybe even simple questions in PM's..

Everyone who's been in the scripting scene for a long time know these "Anti-ban methods" have no effect on Jagex recognizing that you're a bot. If you want to have a true impact on the ban-rate you're going to have to come up with something much more drastic. I've been looking into other botting sites for quite some time now and it seems the most successful approach so far is to create unique botting profiles for each user, and to make each script perform differently based on this profile.

You need an "anti ban" that is completely random to each user.

Due to how Jagex anti botting system is currently getting better and better and how they read on patterns and behaviours that are repeated over and over we need more than just "check skills every 5 mins" "click this every 2 mins" ect. If anything this would get us banned even more due to it being a repeated process that everyone would be doing and not random at all.

It needs to be more complex, like using different walking tiles to get to a certain point every single trip.. ect.

Traditional anti ban's made by scripter offer absolutely nothing and are a joke, anyone experienced in gold farming and botting knows this.

^^ Guy above me gets it.

I know what you're saying, but when you script, you can make it a random time. So it's completely random like a human, you wouldn't say check every 4 mins, you're right that's too easy to tell. You would say check withing 60-180 seconds and random time so sometimes it would be 78 seconds, sometimes 97 etc. However, I get your point.
