    Simple Answer : People.

    Same reason people buy ALL of the shops feathers at 2gp each, cause they sell at 10-15 gp each.

    Iton arrows 5gp each, sell for 20-30 gp each.

     

    It's good profit for a free auto buyer, so you just have to get used to it until jagex notices people auto buying at tremendous rates.
