Dropping Out

Featured Replies

Should i drop out of school? I'm a senior and i'm in some shitty "alternative school". I was suppose to only stay 9 weeks (45 days) but i got wrote up for the stupidest shit. "refusal to get under desk during a earthquake drill" I'm 6 foot fucking 4 and couldn't fit under the desk so they wrote me up for this. I'm not learning anything in highschool and don't plan on going to college honestly.

I'm seriously fed up with it i'm considering dropping out and just starting a buisness.

I'm not sure it's wise to leave school without any qualifications or a path to follow. Before leaving try and find something that you can work for to achieve as in Career wise.

Starting a business might not be the smartest idea straight up out of leaving school. I'd try getting a full time job first and then sorting out what you'd desire to do.

I wouldn't recommend dropping out, but if that's what you want to do, then go for it!

Also, I feel your pain with getting wrote up. The school system is messed up beyond belief.

Indeed it is. I almost got kicked out of a private school because I was "arguing" with the principle by saying "I would rather not talk right now since I am in a bad mood". He said that was disrespectful. Don't like it when people power abuse.

Schools are corrupt these days. I am a Sophomore and I can't wait till I get out of HS. If that Alternative School is bad try finding another, if that doesn't work out, drop out.

DON'T DROP OUT , Stay on and get it done, it's only a year to do, And i'am sure you would regret it if you left.

Trust me, High School is WAAAAY more important than College, I would suggest you to finish it then figure out if you want to go to college.

Don't drop out, just stick to it. You might learn some things on the way...

Better graduate from high school at least, majority of jobs are requiring at least a high school diploma now a days.

^that's all jobs, mcdonalds, taco bell, etc. if your not in school you need a diploma or ged.

Dont drop out, youll regret it.

Sounds like you need to work on those kegels, bruh.

Basically impossible to get a job without a high school diploma. You will make minimum wage for a very long time. Factories don't even hire people without diplomas. Fast food or gas station job awaits.
