Hello OSBot Team,

I am facing a persistent black screen issue immediately after the "Connection to server" message. This problem started right after the recent Deadman Mode (DMM) update.

I have already tried the following:

1. Fresh Windows installation.

2. Deleted the OSBot folder in the user directory to clear cache.

3. Using Stealth Mode (not Mirror Mode).

My System Specs:

Laptop: Toshiba Core i3 4th Gen

RAM: 4GB

OS: Windows 10

Java Version: Java 8 (Standard)

Please let me know if there is a fix or if we need to wait for a client update. Thank you.

Thank you for the detailed update regarding the C++ transition. Since I am currently experiencing a black screen issue with the 2.7.71 version, does this mean the current Java client is already being phased out, or should I still be able to use it until the new client is officially released? Looking forward to the improved performance on lower-end systems.

also wondering the same thing, and when will client be fixed to run because Im having the same issue as OP, cant get past the same part as him when client loads. screen goes black. etc

No, once it shut down ( it did a few days ago) its over until the next osbot is up and running.

Seems terrible that I bought lifetime and I'm having same issues and mirror mode isn't working just saying I need to be a vip to use mirror mode when, When I bought lifetime Mirror mode was included. This site is going down hill and this client.

Jagex killed java botting now osbot is moving to c++ native, which is the future of botting, the developers are almost done with the client so sorry for the delay.

We scripters have been hard at work testing and converting scripts and are ready whenever!

Have yous and OSBOT not considered using plugins for OPENRS I have paid for a few rune lite / OPENRS plugins that do agility and other skills for me (It runs through runelite) and hardly ever get hit with bans?

Yes honestly I was the only one that suggested using runelite, but then I thought about it and realised runelite/HDOS is next to get killed, it's only a matter of time when other clients have to move to C++ too.

AW ok, Its just ashame because I had loads of scripts which now I won't own and don't know if the 5 scripts that are still being shown in my purchase / order history I will keep if they do convert to C++ client and then I have to pay for VIP again and my lifetime sponsor doesn't mean anything. A few of your scripts still show for me in my purchase and owned, a few of Khal's a few APAs. Do I keep these or will I have to pay again if they get converted? And alot of scripts I did own and purchase don't show up anymore.

So all the money we have spent on scripts in last couple of months is down the drain? That is a big scam by OSBOT not even fair. How can we continue to support using this and not another system.

We should be getting more clarity in the coming month and we can all make more informed decisions on how each of us wants to proceed with our botting journeys.

This is just the reality of life at times, I can understand where OSBOT team would be coming from regarding the new transition and what repurchases may be necessary, but on the same note, it would be wise from a business perspective to give legacy members a certain degree of privilege in the new landscape.

It will be up to them to ultimately determine what recourses and legacy privileges those of us who have been around and have spent hundreds/thousands here over the years.

There is little point in fear mongering or getting too emotional until we have all the information.

Hopefully the full informational package is available to all of us soon and we can all make the best decisions for ourselves on individual bases moving forward.
