Trying to download the client after a few years absent. When I go to download and extract I cant seem to find a launcher application in any of the files. Any suggestions?

Shouldn't need to extract anything? Should just be able to run the .jar assuming you have java installed. if you've never run a .jar file, you MIGHT need to right click and 'open with' and select java

 

Run jarfix if osbot isn't opening as java (by default)

Make sure you have java 8 installed  
After that you can "open with" and select it, but it should recognize it.
Iif it does not recognize it, run a jarfix if using windows (https://johann.loefflmann.net/en/software/jarfix/index.html)
