I wouldn't play with 3D yet. Try getting text effects down.

 

Hint: Use gradients.

Needs some work. Theres something messed up with the pixels. And I don't like how it has the depth thing.

Not really feeling the stroke etc. Effects look sloppy and random pixels are a bit weird. Work on it some more man.

Could have been better by having a ligther color but otherwise it looks okay.

Needs alot off improving use Gradients, add more texture and don't use 3D yet, if you need some help I'd be happy too.

Make sure your text is outstanding before making it 3D (eg: alot of effects not just plain text with texture).
