Mirror Greyed out even with correct version of Java.

Featured Replies

Hey people!

I really really tried to troubleshoot everything before making this thread but I have had no luck. I have been trying to get mirror mode to work for a while now and it is still greyed out. No matter what I have done, even with the correct version of Java, it is still not working.

If there is anyone that would be willing to help me fix this so I can use Mirror mode, I would GREATLY appreciate you!

If it's greyed out then you're not launching it with the Java version you think you are

probably have multiple java version installed, make sure it's using java 8 one
Or remove all other version and run a jarfix https://johann.loefflmann.net/en/software/jarfix/index.html

So I double checked and there isn't any other java versions, is there something else I could be doing wrong? Does mirror work with runelite or just the legacy version? I have osbot patched to runelite.

Legacy version only. You can manually point to the java version and run it directly from command prompt.

"path_to_java/java" -jar "path_to_osbot/osbot 2.7.40.jar"

Ok so this is good to know, I am learning.

So basically, I have to run the legacy version first, then open OSbot and click mirror? I want to make sure I know what I am doing, because maybe I am just making a simple mistake that is causing this to not work.

Yes. But none of that matters if some funky business is going on causing the wrong java version to be used

Right, so I double and triple checked and I am only seeing Java 1.8.0_431.
