Well, my account has been banned for 14 days for botting. Am I the first one to get banned using OSBot?

Don't worry, Jagex. I'll still be botting on my other accounts and furthermore when my obby maul pure gets unbanned.

Where were you and what were you doing when you got banned?

I was running Laz's flax picker when I got banned. I was only running it for around 2 hours.

(No, this is not my main money-making method. I was testing it out to post a progress report for Laz.)

For only two hours? That is pretty crazy, you must have been really lucky to get banned for 14 days, I am guessing a J-Mod was walking around banning some bots in my opinion, could be wrong.

Flax picking has high ban rates. Sorry. v1.4.2 will have at least 15 randoms implemented and behaves more human like.

I've been banning for obscene amounts of time at Void Outpost.. no ban.

Also, I though Fagex had a zero tolerance policy for botting? Apparently, that doesn't go for OSRS......

There is not any anti-bot technology at the moment I thought since we did not reach the said 500k amount.

So my guess is a mod banned him temporarily since he didn't know for sure that he was a bot. Just seemed like it.

EDIT: Because people on OSRS forums where also complaining about getting falsely banned, so I think the mods just walk around banning people that might be botting, because my guess is that all the real players would swarm a J-Mod in game. Making it obvious since bots won't.

It's alright. I'm not mad at you or any of the OSBot staff. I'm botting at my own risk and I accept that.

Can't wait for more updates. :P

Manual ban for sure, someone just went to your world and start reporting bots.

That's what I figured. I knew from the start that I shouldn't be botting with very few people in the area. There were 2 level 3's that were gold farming and nobody in the bank; I just thought oh well, I pry won't ever get banned anyway. I've botted for a long time in previous years. Obviously it wasn't a very good choice. :P
