that's weird, that has never happend to me before and my recruiters get banned all the time, you might want to change ur ip....

It was the first time any accounts got banned under this IP.

I'm not saying that its 100% fact but they may flag account that are linked to the same IP and were recruited under the same IP.

I've also heard others make this claim to.

I could see Jagex banning linked accounts w/ Recruit a Friend.
