Personally, without updates, 07 could die within weeks. They really need to release it to F2P, but there are both pros and cons to doing so. E.g bots - People will try out the game before spending $5 on something they don't enjoy. There are more, I'm just too lazy to list them.

 

 

Regarding EoC. In a few years, I feel that could be down. They just constantly update the game with so much shit, and now players have moved on and started playing LoL & WoW. *According to some video makers, Jagex barely have enough profits to even pay their staff*. Not sure if that's true but ehhh.

 

This isn't a rant thread by any means, I just want to hear your opinions on the topic.

 

In summary, I do feel 07 needs F2P, PvP worlds & Clan Wars. (We already know GWD is coming 17th October).

I can highly agree with you there, allthough they are doubtfully going to waste more of their time/effort into the game they so called "want the players to decide on" they make a pole of what they think will make their profits better,

Like they are releasing GWD as we know, but godswords will be BoP? What's the point having them soulbound, that mean we die and loose without protect, we cant go re-buy one, we have to go camp for a new one, which people arent going to want to do, don't get me wrong, I prefer 07 over RS3, but that's my personal preferance, RS3, I tried out aswell as many others, and ive been a straight coming up member on multiple accounts for maybe 5-7 years now, ive been playing since around 2002, and the game is always like this, it will take a giant dip, but then rise again. (We hope)

I personally havent played LoL either, but WoW I did, and I have 6 90's, its far too repetitive for me, but hey each to their own if people decide they want to log on to do whatever they do on their toons that's down to them.

Yeah I do agree 150% with the Free to Play section, allthough if so, they should have it cornered off on certain peices like they did in the old Runescape before Grand Exchange etc, and even till now on RS they have that marker.

I know plenty of people that really enjoy EOC... and quit 07 just to carry on with EOC... the game is just at its low... but hopefully it does come back into a trend... and more noobs join the game

I doubt they don't have the money to pay their own staff as they have just employed randoms for pretty much no reason more than they are walking advertisements. don't listen to rumors
