How to use OSBot with a jagex account (2024)

Featured Replies

1. open OSB.jar then select "Game client patcher" seen below.

After clicking on the game client patcher select "runelite" as the client you'd like to patch. (seen below)

then select "Patch game client" after all your options are selected.

You can now use your favorite 3pc with a jagex account, enjoy.

I too also can't get this working on a Mac, and have seen several other posts. If there is a working fix, many of us would be grateful for a mac OS focused guided. I know there's a Mac tutorial for OSBOT on the tutorials page, and an updated version would be most welcome now Jagex have confirmed all new accounts will be impacted from Jan 12. Ty!

It's stored under:

~/.runelite

What does the patch do exactly?

And then do you know how to use that for patching to runelite?  I found the .runelite folder on my mac, but I'm still not sure how to patch it correctly.  I can't get it to work with HDOS either, though HDOS doesn't work with my jagex launcher anyway

If the path to OSBot .jar is correct for your mac all you do is hit the patch game client. Once that is done you open the Jagex launcher then launch runelite it will auto open OSBot and it will show stealth, select it once you select that it will work.

This is only opening RuneLite for me and not giving me an option to login in on a Jagex Account. Any help?
