Does using a VPN increase risk of botting bans?

I've had 3 seperate accounts closed for botting in 72 hours.

One played for about 12 hours (I figured banned too much playing)

One play for 4 hours (I figured banned too much playing)

One played for 90 minutes.

All of them were new created. none of them only leveled one sole thing.

 

I understand proxies are generally the best but with not too many accounts I do not believe IP matters all too much!

What you are botting and how you bot it goes a long way too. I try to avoid being where other players will be as much as possible. I don't have more than 2 accounts logged into the same proxy at one time. I typically go for very short play time and break cycles but that doesn't work with certain things. F2P is supposedly harder to get away with but right now all I'm doing is F2P combat training. I've tried a handful of places and I've found that there are spots I've pretty much run flawlessly 12 hours a day per account and other spots seems like almost an insta-ban with practically the same script just changing up the kill areas and npcs I'm killing.

I'm playing F2P.

I've done mining in Rimmington, Varrock

I've done wood cutting at GE & Draynor

I've done fighting, Rats at Lumby, move to chickens and then cows and then goblins (90 minute fighting. w/ food)

I've done fishing at Lumby, Draynor, Barbarian

 

Yeah F2P can be hard. I don't really want to give up my personal spots either lol. But look for something that's out of the way. I wouldn't train anywhere that would be considered 'profitable' in f2p unless its for a suicide farm.

So basically you've done the most botted things in F2P in the highest botted areas.... 

Keep trying, bot at different places for different amounts of time. Find what works for you, i wouldnt bother with proxies or a vpn. Goodluck!

Any suggestions on Mirror Mode or Stealth? any settings worth changing?

I use stealth for everything. I'd only use mirror mode if I were to try to bot tutorial island but I've had next to no luck doing that either way. If I'm not doing anything like quests or something I use low cpu mode and disable rendering. I always use 'new mouse'.

The reason I say mirror mode for tutorial island is because I've done it by hand on a stealth client only using it to log in and the account was still banned so I think they have some sort of check on that. But I'm not sure why they'd only have it check on tutorial island so that may also just be some tinfoil hat stuff on my end.

you are mindlessly abusing(suiciding) the most popular skills in the most popular spots in F2P and surprised that you are getting hammered?

this has nothing to do with the VPN, your style should be refined
