32 GB RAM botting computer. HELP!

Featured Replies

Dude, you need at least 128gb of RAM to run any game

What?

Don't listen to that guy.

Okay for CPU I would recommend the i7 4770k. PSU, go with a 700W 80+ Gold or Bronze standard PSU like the Corsair GS700.

Thanks!

Ok, isn't there other stuff I need for a computer too though?

I accepted your Skype request, it says your offline?

Yeah it says you're offline on my skype too. I'll just post it here. If you buy the CPU I suggested then you'll need the correct motherboard for the chip to fit it. The motherboard I like personally is the ASRock extreme 6 however you need to buy a network card if you want to have wireless internet. However the Asus Z87 Pro is a good motherboard that has everything including the wifi built in so you won't need to worry about purchasing another part. It will also let you install 32GB RAM if you still want that, however 16GB is more than enough for running bots unless you really want to run like 40 bots.

Asus Z87 Pro- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131979 $200

ASRock Z87 extreme 6 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157371 $189.99

You'll also need a decent GPU as well, although Runescape does not utilise a GPU for it's graphics it will improve system performance if you like to indulge in any other games that do require a dedicated GPU. For this build we could use an inexpensive entry level card like the GTX 650 OC 2GB.

GTX 650 OC- http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-PCI-Express-Graphics-GV-N650OC-2GI/dp/B00942TJXY $129.99

With the above setup you will churn out at least 20 bots. Need more? Okay well the 4770k is almost the same as the 4770 when it comes out the box. However the "k" in the 4770k means you can overclock it. Now I recommend overclocking it to around 4.0 Ghz. With that clock speed the Haswell processor/CPU drastically improves it's performance by using the Intel HyperThreading technology. In the words of Uncle Ben Parker

By this I mean you're going to need a better cooler than the one Intel supply with the 4770k. What CPU cooler should you use? Well for the best cooling possible (which will also allow you to overclock it further btw to push it to even 4.5Ghz) I would go with the Corsair Hydro H100i. It is a VERY good cooler and it is VERY quiet not to mention it won't weigh your motherboard down like some large CPU cooler fans so that's a plus as well.

Corsair Hydro H100i- http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Series-Extreme-Performance-Liquid/dp/B009ZN2NH6 - $100

I hope this helps. This build is kind of expensive apart from the GPU I tried to save you a bit of money there but it is entirely up to you.

Seasonic and Corsair are the best PSU in the business. I highly recommend them.

i7-3950k atleast, any less powerful CPU would be a bottleneck for 32gb of RAM, if that`s PC purely for botting.

You seriously don't need 32 gigabytes of ram, I'd be more concerned with the speed of the ram than getting anything over 16 gigabytes

ASRock is a terrible company they're known for faulty boards and even I have experienced this, the GPU doesn't improve system performance at all, the only thing it does is make windows aero run better and games of course, the only thing an i7 has going over an i5 is hyperthreading which plays no role in botting or gaming, the corsair H100 is garbage(you're not going to see much of a difference from the H60)

You will never, ever, ever, use over 14gbs of ram.

32 GB of RAM is overkill, don't waste money there. If you want to go HAM with RAM (hue hue), then just get 16 GB at most.

Running 30 osbot clients doesn't even go over 6gbs of ram.

Buy a hexacore processor, either the 3930k or phenom x6.

Yes it does. I'm running 18 bots right now and using around 6gb of ram on a linux machine. 32 gb is a crap tonne of ram though

Linux may be different then.

Uhh if you make around 500k-1m/hr on every bot

I would recomend octal core processor and your computer will be the best alive!

No one wants an AMD poop

how can u guys run so many without ban? i have to run each one in a vps that i dedicate 1gb or ram to each. when i botted 4 accounts in 4 seperate clients i got banned within a day without my ip flagged.

32GB goes hard. But if your only using Windows your missing out. If it's intel based I would run a copy of Hackingtosh such as iAtkos (Mac for Intel based computers/laptops). You would be able to install partitions to run different operating systems and be able to use your 32GB to it's full potential. 16GB to the Windows and 16GB to the Mac. Who really needs a botting computer? Take that machine your building and make the most usefulness out of it. At least that's what I would do
