i have java 8 installed and jarfix didnt work

Have you tried right clicking and changing the properties to open with Java?

that option dosent show up for me

I would try uninstalling your java version, delte the osbot file you've downloaded, restarting your PC, Reinstalling java 8, download the osbot launcher and restarting your pc again. see if that does anything

didnt do a thing it still shows up as a notepad file

 

Can you right click> open with? What OS are you using?

thats what ive been doing the java option dosent show up

Then go to the more apps button, scroll all the way down to look for another app on this pc, and navigate to where Java is installed and click Java
