i was just interested in finding out how come osbot seems to drop after every update whilst every other active botting cliet stays up and running? besides of course big updates such as ID changes etc but yeh. virtually no other client went down after this update besides osbot, may be something for the dev's to look into if keeping a large prospering client base is desired.

 

for example things like "scar" scripts n such went to chit due to being complex and always failing after updates and i dont want osbot turning out the same. thankyou. 

Jagex updates and something they do changes the ability for the OSBot client to grab the RS client. I'm not too well informed on it and it is quite an annoyance but you'd have to wait for a reply from someone smarter than me

osBot is super easy to use and their bots get fixed normally fairly quickly...so don't complain. If you don't like then don't use it.

I'll answer your question in a very "poor" metaphor.

 

You go into the library and take the books required (in this case the runescape stuff), and once you close the bot, the books go back.

The next day, the library replaces the books and you don't know what to get since the name changed, now you're stuck. You've got to wait for someone to instruct what the title of the new book is.

j@gex take measures to disable bots the best they can the staff here does the best they can to update the bot to deal with these updates.  They usually have no effect on the non botter and this makes easier for them to find who is and isnt botting.

I guess it's 'that time of the month'  

just because its old scape doesnt mean its got old bot catching techniques. Jagex implemented a lot of new ways to catch bots in the live game and im sure they carried over as many bot catching updates as they could into 07.
