It will rise temporarily (for demand) and then drop due to the sheer amount of gold that will be entering the game.

Why would more gold be entering the game? Gwd won't have more gold enter the game......

 

 

Gold primarily enters the game through alchable goods. GWD bosses have a high drop rate for items like rune plates, etc, which alch at 50k/piece. Aviansies drop addy bars which create highly valuable alchable goods, etc.. Anyway, it WILL bring a LOT of gold ingame. Maybe not a ton relatively speaking, but enough to drop prices.

 

EDIT: I am talking about over the course of a couple of months, not weeks. Eventually, GWD armor will drop a lot in price (due to not a lot leaving the game, a lot entering) and then it won't be hard to earn the money for it. Then, with all the gold coming in, and less demand, gold costs will drop. That's just speculation though, of course.

Am I crazy or didn't they propose to not being able to buy Godswords? So people 'couldn't just buy power'

Gotta wait until more details emerge before we speculate to much. But if GS's are tradeable I could see an initial surge of gold prices but not by much tbh.

I've created a private Avansie script on another site a while back, but I was new to java so it wasn't that great, but it worked. I'll be hoping to make one here as well. And I believe it will rise, not drop, as people will buy gold for gear for GWD or for the stats.

It won't make anything, Adamant bars aren't even being dropped as notes. This script would be pointless for money making.
