Kramnik
Hi guys, getting new gaming PC today, mainly for botting, but ofcourse it will also be used for work ar probably gaming time to time Since I have been laptops for a while now I lack additional tech to my build, like keyboard, monitor etc. So main concern is about monitor. I have old one which was used as second screen to my laptop, so it would do now, but I am planning to buy new one and thinking about samsung curved ones. Hopping someone here have or had one and could share experience. Because ofcourse it should be amazing for gaming, but I also use for stock trading, working with excel a lot, using photoshop etc. wouldn't it make view distorted and hard to use when normally everyone uses standart monitors? Runnwith
I have a curved monitor that is geared towards gaming, and I love it to death. It's good for productivity and for multitasking, for me it is at least. I can play Rs in the background while also having a regular window open doing course work or studying in general while not having to shrink down either window. ( I play on resizeable but basically fixed size). Only gripe I have is that some games mainly older ones are optimised for a curved monitor and causes some problems until I run it windowed mode. But other than that I'm happy with the purchase, but also think about getting a 1440p 27inch as a main and 24inch 1080p monitor sometimes as well. Jackthedon
I've not experienced one myself, but I've previously asked around and the general response was that it's not really worth the extra pricetag.
StickTalk
I have the 49 inch Samsung curve and its awesome I wouldn't trade it for anything in the word besides a Kawasaki H2. You can make it into dual screen its a mode on them called PBP visual and sound coming from both screens. Game on one and do other work on the other.
