Programming service Good/Bad idea; Allowed/Not Allowed on forums?

Featured Replies

If I wanted to open a service that taught people Java/HTML/The C's etc. Is that allowed on this forum?

/Thread if yes

I'd say yes, but people won't buy it unless it's good, and affordable, because the Internet has a lot of free tutorials on those things.

Yes, which is why people watch TheNewBoston and sometimes endure irreversible damage. Anyway, there are many free things about any subject online (History, English, etc), that doesn't necessarily mean we should get rid of school teachers though

Its good idea but i agree with cummins

That is allowed. Don't forget that if you want feedback for it that it has to be a paid service, though.

1.) I might do it for free no feedback because it'll really help some of these kids

2.) Then again, I should probably get some feedback given my humble 11 posts

Ahh whatever, I'll make a thread right now in Market>Other

Thanks for verifying for me

I think I'll do primarily Java because of the forum's nature..

Wait so why can't I start a topic in Market->Service

EDIT:WHAT 40 posts... ugh

Ya would think after making 10 (Quality posts) that includes one released script you could make a thread there..

Whatever I'll do it later

The forum can't tell what a quality post is and you did just make a post complaining about it being 40 posts which in my eyes isn't a quality post. Get the 40 posts, open up your service and you're good to go it's not going to take weeks to get 40 posts!

Yeah I know. Sorry, that part was just bad sarcasm. They obviously aren't all quality posts

It should definitely be allowed. We need more scripters.

Hey, could I extend this to other subjects to and make it a general tutoring service? I think I have a few credentials that would make it look sharp for learning rather than some kid giving mediocre homework help

Why not?
